1.Jesters strongly recommend that you read all instructions before using any of our products - or seek instructions from us should you require.

2. All equipment should be practised with BEFORE attempting to light the wicks until a high level of control and understanding of the principles has been achieved.

3. All equipment MUST be checked regularly.

4. Jesters accept no responsibility for any injury caused by any of its products. It is up to the individual to ensure he or she is wearing suitable clothing and is in a suitable area for practising these skills. REMEMBER: FIRE IS DANGEROUS, PLEASE TAKE THE CORRECT PRECAUTIONS.

5. Fire based circus skills performances are some of the most remarkable around, but you cannot practice or perform everywhere. Please contact you local council for information on where you can and cannot perform.

6. If you are under 18, please seek adult supervision.

7. Always have a fire extinguisher or a bucket of water and a bucket of sand ready in case of an emergency. (Water to throw on people, sand to throw on equipment). A big thick old rug is also very good for smothering any fires.

8. Always store paraffin and other combustibles in a sealable container that is clearly labelled. (lots of injuries occur because fuel is left in unmarked containers and drunk by mistake. Always label your fuel containers properly)

9. Avoid baggy clothing or clothing which may catch fire easily and tie up long hair (wear a non- flammable hat or dampen your hair if it is particularly frizzy or if you use hair products).

10. Ensure audience is at a safe distance

11. NEVER use fire indoors

12. Always spin off excess paraffin away from people before lighting the wicks

13. Although the temptation may be present, never play with fire when drunk or under the influence of drugs

14. Allow equipment to cool down between performances

15. Do not store equipment in a bedroom

16. Keep out of reach of children

17. REMEMBER: FIRE IS DANGEROUS, USE OUR PRODUCTS WITH CARE AND TAKE ALL NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS TO AVOID INJURY.
